We are hiring for Vehicle Patrol work in Santa Rosa!
Barbier Security Group is looking for a professional and dedicated Patrol Security Officer to provide safety and security services for multiple locations throughout the Sonoma County area. This role involves patrolling a range of properties which require making multiple, randomly timed stops and performing a range of duties, as outlined by our clients.
A clean driving record is required, as this position involves driving a patrol vehicle for the majority of the shift. Additionally, we are seeking candidates with exceptional presentation and customer service skills who can help ensure that residents, guests, and employees feel secure and welcomed every day.

- 8 Hour Shifts with Opportunities for Overtime
- Must have availability ranging from 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM weekends
- Salary: $25.00 per hour

Vehicle Patrol Agent duties may include:
- Maintain a detailed on-duty activity log
- Respond to triggered alarms, distress calls, or calls for service
- Issue, log, and track parking violations; execute towing policies
- Extensive patrols by foot in addition to vehicle
- Generate awareness among communities
- Search properties for unwanted trespassers or suspicious persons
- Report emergency incidents to first responder agencies
- Investigate any potential safety issues or vandalism
- Maintain a good working relationship with local law enforcement agencies
- Deter or prevent any criminal activity or unacceptable conduct
- Address any additional client concerns
Requirements:
- Must have Grave shift availability
- Must have a valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have had a license for at least three years
- No suspension or revocation of driving privileges
- Current California Guard Card
- No serious violations including DUI, suspended license, refusing a drug/alcohol test, driving with a suspended license, and fleeing and eluding
- Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk for majority of shift on various surfaces (concrete, carpet, etc.)
- Ability to move 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Excellent interpersonal and written skills; bilingual is a plus
- Professional appearance; well-groomed with no visible tattoos or piercings
- Desire to pursue police academy, law enforcement, or criminal justice career encouraged
- One-year previous mobile patrol, security officer, or asset protection experience
