What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Support Technician position at BARKMAN HONEY, LLC?
Assists with maintaining equipment and buildings and helps out in all areas to ensure production runs smoothly.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
– You work in the warehouse by pulling and loading orders/transfers, unloading inbound trucks and staging components for production.
– You manage honey batches by staging, loading and unloading hot boxes and running the straining system to ensure batches are completed on-time for packaging.
– You help in any area within Manufacturing when needed. This may include assisting in the packaging room, lab, or running various errands.
– You troubleshoot machine issues as they arise by inspecting, operating, or testing equipment to diagnose malfunctions. Conduct & document preventative maintenance inspections on machinery, buildings, and systems.
– You maintain and keep all equipment and facilities in good operating condition.
– You accurately maintain quality records, consistently conduct quality inspections and notify your coach if something doesn't look quite right.
