Client located in Elk Grove seeking a Customer Service Specialist to manage their order fulfillment and insure customer inquiries are handled promptly and accurately.

Monday to Friday
7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: $18.00 Hour

Job Responsibilities:
Basic Function:
Responsible for efficient order fulfillment and shipment of parts for Customer Service/Technical Support Representatives and online purchases. This includes processing returns, maintaining inventory, and organizing the Customer Service parts area.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming customer calls
  • Respond to incoming customer emails from Tech Support, website contacts, and direct emails
  • Oversee the order fulfillment process:
    • Accurately enter, fulfill, and bill in-stock orders within 24 hours.
    • Communicate with CSR/Technical Support and Customer Service Manager on order questions or issues.
    • Coordinate with Factory Line Supervisors to ensure necessary parts are assembled.
    • Work with Shipping Associate for off-site parts retrieval.
    • Assist with order picking, prepare Transfer Orders, and determine shipping rates for customers.
    • Prepare commercial invoices for international shipments and follow up on backorders and shipping discrepancies.
  • Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process:
    • Process RMA orders, provide return shipping labels, and log all RMAs.
    • Track and transfer parts in NetSuite to ensure accurate inventory.
    • Work with Accounting to issue credits as needed and follow up on outstanding RMAs monthly.
  • Maintain Customer Service Parts Inventory:
    • Perform monthly cycle counts, transfer necessary parts to Customer Service Inventory, and keep bins organized.
    • Manage shipping supplies inventory and order as needed.
    • Update all customer and parts information in NetSuite accurately.
  • Participate in weekly team calls and collaborate on process improvements and department initiatives.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:
  • 1-2 years in customer service roles.
  • 1-2 years in order fulfillment and packaging.
  • Experience with online retail order processing preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Key Competencies:
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and team oriented.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders and lift up to 40 lbs.
