What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Shop Associate position at Base Lab Tools Inc?
IMMEDIATE Position available for a Machine Shop Associate to join our production team!
Metal Finisher Duties:
- Use hand drill to repetitively to countersink tapped holes on aluminum plates
- Sand and buff aluminum plates to meet company standards
Other Shop Associate Duties
- Power wash product to company standards
- Build skids & crates to meet requirements
Qualifications:
- Ability to Quality check your own work against company standards
- Good with hand and power tools
- Capable of following job procedures consistently
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable working on your feet
- Strong attention to detail and a can do attitude
- Reliable transportation
- Previous experience in manufacturing a plus
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
First week will be a 1 week paid training period. During this time you will be trained on company procedures and familiarized with standards you will be expected to achieve.
