Major Duties and Responsibilities
As the Assistant Vice President, Compliance and Risk Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our credit union adheres to regulatory compliance requirements and manages risk effectively. Your expertise in compliance and risk management will be instrumental in safeguarding our members’ financial well-being.
- Conducting regulatory, policy and compliance audits for management to assess effectiveness of compliance procedures and controls, accuracy and timeliness of documentation generation, and efficiency and knowledge of compliance requirements in operations.
- Oversee and provide leadership, direction and coaching for the Compliance and Card departments.
- Designated BSA Officer
Qualifications:
- 5 years of similar or related experience, in a compliance, fraud or risk role.
- College degree - Current certifications such as Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist or Credit Union Compliance Expert or their equivalent.
