ColourPop is looking for a dynamic Social Community Coordinator with strong writing skills and understanding of the social media landscape to embody the brand’s voice across various social channels. This position involves overseeing daily interactions with our social community, promptly addressing comments and inquiries, while also managing our ColourPop social community ensuring that it is a positive and creative space across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and emerging platforms. As the Social Community Coordinator, your insights will be vital for driving engagement and growing our social community.

- Conduct daily social listening and community management by responding to all inbound social inquiries and comments daily across all platforms fostering a positive and creative space for our community.
- Engaging with user generated content (not just inbounds) and responding to stories, posts and comments in our brand voice.
- Ensure daily posting in-feed and on stories across all channels and brand pages.
- Copywriting for all social posts on Instagram and creation of Instagram Stories and content as needed.
- Lead ongoing initiatives to gather community feedback, identify giveaway winners surprise and delight opportunities to our community.
- Identify user generated content for reposting and collect usage rights.
- Work closely with the Director of Social Media to schedule content making sure copy and content are aligned to the brand calendar and social moments.
- Stay up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep ColourPop’s social media presence consistently relevant.
- Assist with ad hoc marketing projects including photoshoots, brand events… etc.
- The ideal candidate should be a beauty lover with a customer service mindset, with strong writing skills and a passion for the internet.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role required.
- Excellent understanding of the social media landscape to drive engagement on social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating compelling copy, engaging captions and responding to comments.
- Strong project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with light video and photo editing using CapCut.
- Must be comfortable on camera and assisting with filming content.
- Appetite for working in a fast-paced, diverse, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Fast learner and curious to problem solve and help build solutions
- Experience with Jira/Confluence, Notion, Dash Hudson a plus.
- Expected to be in office three days per week
