Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional, vigilant, and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team. In this critical role, you will serve as a visible and authoritative deterrent to crime, ensuring the safety and security of our clients, their assets, and the premises you are assigned to protect. Your presence and proactive measures will contribute to a secure environment where safety is a priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and promote safety
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, using de-escalation tactics when possible
- Monitor access points and control entry to the premises
- Document incidents, observations, and actions in clear, comprehensive reports
- Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and employees
- Handle and maintain weapon responsibly, adhering to all applicable laws and company policies
Qualifications
Quality Prior Experience in Law Enforcement, Military Service or Armed Security is required.
- Minimum age: 23
- Quality prior experience in Law Enforcement, Military Service, or Armed Security
- Current Utah Armed Security Officer License
- High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)
- Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly in emergencies
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays
- Professional appearance and ability to wear a uniform
