What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Beehive Homes Assisted Living?
We are currently hiring for 7a-7p 3 days a week and 3 overnight shifts 7p-7a.
```Duties```
- Provide direct support and care to individuals in need.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring the health and well-being of individuals under your care.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals.
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Familiarity with hospice care procedures and protocols.
- Basic understanding of first aid techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
