What are the responsibilities and job description for the Glass Lathe Operator - Class B position at Bellco Glass Inc?
1) Able to perform all set-ups on jobs when instructed by Supervisor.
2) Be familiar with different types of fires Crossfire, Slot Burner, Hand Torch
3) Able to perform highly skilled lathe procedures, meeting all established
quality standards.
4) Must be able to read blueprints and determine critical measurements and angles.
5) Confirm measurements with calibrated instruments. (i.e. ruler, caliper, protractor)
6) Ability to recognize possible non-conformance problems with products.
7) Physically able to lift and manage approximately 45 pounds.
8) Perform all special requests by the coordinator.
9) Contributes to team effort through accomplishing completion of job-related functions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
