Front Office Assistant
REPORTS TO: Head of School
STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt | FT - M-F 9am-6pm
DIRECT REPORTS: No
Hourly Pay: $20-23 per hour

Position Summary:
As you are the first to greet parents as they enter the building so stellar customer service is paramount. In our fast-paced workday, you will thrive with the ability to multi-task and pivot as school needs change. Daily tasks coupled with helping students visiting the front desk throughout the day, will help your day breeze by.
Some administrative tasks that will fill your day include:
· Communication: Answering phones, responding to inquiries, and taking and relaying messages. Maintain correspondence with parents, mostly through email.
· Record keeping: Maintaining daily attendance reports. Audit and maintain permanent records for student files.
· Document preparation: Drafting documents, typing letters, reports, and memos. Working with Microsoft Office systems to prepare and edit work files.
· Visitor management: Greeting visitors, checking them in, and providing passes. Follow our Safeguarding policies.
· Student management: Checking students in and out and monitoring early dismissal requests.
· School activities: Help coordinate school activities, programs, and events.
· Maintain our school aesthetic: Managing lost and found items, tidy common spaces, spot clean as needed.
