Job Title: Clubhouse Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary: The Clubhouse Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of the clubhouse and associated facilities, including pool, restaurant, locker room, and bathroom facilities. This role involves managing maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with other departments to provide a high-quality experience for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and contractors.
- Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Schedule and oversee repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform and oversee custodial duties related to the bathroom and locker room facilities, including plumbing repair when appropriate.
- Maintain the parking lot, pool, and surrounding clubhouse area, ensuring a clean and attractive environment.
- Assist the clubhouse staff with Banquet Facility event set-up and take-down.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for staff and patrons.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report to the General Manager as needed.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
- Train and develop maintenance staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Two years previous experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Relevant certifications or training in facilities management or maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures, tools, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping, communicating, and reporting.
Working Conditions:
- May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on the needs of the clubhouse.
- Physically demanding, as it involves lifting, walking, and outdoor work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
