Job Opening: Associate Attorney – Landlord-Tenant or Community Association Law
Small but technologically advanced boutique law practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in landlord-tenant law or community association/condominium law to join our team. The ideal candidate must be familiar with applicable laws and regulations and be prepared to represent clients in court for hearings, pleadings and trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including pleadings, hearings and trial litigation.
- Provide legal counsel in interpreting and drafting contracts, covenants and corporate bylaws related to community association law.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective case strategies.
- Maintain client relationships with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Connecticut.
- Proven experience in landlord-tenant law or community association/condominium law a must.
- Courtroom experience, including hearings and trials helpful.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
