Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate a caseload of insurance defense cases, including general liability, premises liability, and auto accidents.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and negotiations.
- Collaborate closely with team members and clients to develop effective case strategies.
- Participate in mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Connecticut bar license.
- 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
