Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Manager at Bernhardt Furniture in Lenoir, NC. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for stock control, inventory control, operations management, forklift operation, and inventory management on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Stock Control, Inventory Control, and Inventory Management skills
- Forklift Operation experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in warehouse management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations
- Proficiency in computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating dynamic spreadsheets with formulas and pivot tables.
- Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint to develop professional presentations, incorporating visuals, charts, and data to effectively communicate key information
- Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications such as Word for documentation and Outlook for email and scheduling, ensuring seamless workflow management.
- Ability to leverage technology to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and support decision-making.
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and guide teams effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred but not required.
- Experience managing projects, including planning and execution.
