Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization and administer dermal fillers as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide follow-up care instructions to patients.
- Engage in clinical research initiatives to improve healthcare practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
- Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
Skills
- Proficient in Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
- Strong background in critical care nursing practices.
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes to ensure smooth transitions of care.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to conduct clinical research to enhance patient care methodologies.
