Flooring Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Flooring Installer to join our team. We are willing to train the right candidate. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, and carpet according to specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old flooring, leveling subfloors, and ensuring proper moisture control.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.

Qualifications

• Experience in flooring installation or related remodeling work is preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Previous experience in the flooring industry is advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods while working on installations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Must have valid drivers license and pass background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
