As a Business Development Professional, You Will
- Close new business in the form of new clients and new contracts thereby increasing Bgesh’s revenue and net earnings
- Discover new opportunities with existing clients by working with clients’ procurement personnel
- Connect with people of all levels of management, both within Bgesh, Incorporated and externally with leads, clients, and partners
- Be available and responsive to clients’ needs, documenting, acting, and following up on all aspects of their expressed needs, both written and verbal
- Work closely with Business Unit Managers, responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs), informing them of market conditions, pricing issues, and researching and reporting on the current competition on the program
- Present to various groups within the client’s organization, acting as a technical representative of the company
- Coordinate the preparation of the proposal writing process, aiding the proposal writing team in gathering information from the contracting officer or client
- Experience in business development, customer service, marketing, and/or other related fields
- Familiarity with the federal contract procurement process
- Independently Driven, a “go-getter”
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with CRM, and other technological platforms and related software
