What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Manager position at Blackberry?
The Family Manager will assist a family with daily childcare/householdresponsibilities including working in a home environment and providing household support to the entire family. Must be able to work full-time hours (30-40), on a flexible schedule.
Must be able to work nights and weekends. Holidays will be scheduled off on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, and Easter.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following although other duties may be assigned
Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the home
Must enjoy interacting with active children and being heavily involved in many aspects of the home life
Be proactively engaged in the overall tone of the home while maintaining a flexible and positive attitude
Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, time management, and computer skills
Be a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with limited supervision
Anticipatesthe needs of the household
Providestransportation for children to and from scheduled activities
Superviseschildren after school and as needed
Supervises homework
Manages in-home projects
Helps with meal preparationas needed
Restock household inventory of groceries from a list that will be provided
Manages cleanliness of all vehicles on a weekly basis
Helps manage and tidy the Knoxville house kitchen and laundry room
Organizesmiscellaneous personal requests on a daily basis
Travels with family when the occasion arises
Stays overnight with children 4/5 nights per month
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College degree is highly preferred
Childcare experience required
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and handle complicated schedules in a must
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic knowledge and understanding of math and general accounting
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to exercise good judgment and make decisions with limited supervision
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
