Account Management Representative
Job Responsibilities
- Learn Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association (FMCSA) regulations.
- Interact with clients by answering phone calls promptly, responding to emails within a timely manner.
- Advise trucking companies on safety regulations and fuel tax.
- Log detailed notes into company software as they are completed.
- Make daily inbound and outbound calls.
- Get to know clients and company issues.
- Provide customers with updates when needed.
- Update and maintain electronic customer records including contact details, issues, and resolutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Analyze progress and set goals to improve client satisfaction.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, trainings, and report on any customer issues.
- Resolve complaints and customer problems in an efficient and friendly manner.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to work in office (this is not a remote position)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to comfortably sit for long periods of time
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer proficiency
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to resolve conflict and de-escalate customer issues
- Previous customer service experience
