Description of Role: The Accounting Clerk will provide day to day support for the efficient processing of most accounting transactions.
Duties:
- In person role
- Assisting the A/R coordinator with the daily deposit, posting cash receipts, research, collections, lien waivers, and validating sales tax exemptions, and returns
- Providing full cycle A/P support for the A/P Coordinator including document management
- Invoicing customers on a daily basis
- Supporting Controller by entering journal entries such as prepaids, depreciation and accruals and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Reporting Sales tax for multiple states and cities monthly, quarterly, or annually as required
- Acting as primary contact for various customer and vendor portals regarding invoicing and payments
- Reconciling, coding, recording all company credit card charges and employee reimbursement charges
- Willing to support all members of the team
- Willing to obtain Notary certification (company paid)
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience required
- Problem Solving
- Proficient in MS Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Adobe
- Great Plains experience a plus!
- Able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
- Able to work effectively with a wide range of people across the country
- Time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Prior multi-jurisdiction sales tax experience a plus

- Employee receives 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week of sick leave, and 1 week of personal time accrued throughout the year.
