The Controller will oversee the financial operations and strategy of Blackstone Medical Services. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, strategic planning, and accounting principles, as well as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. The Controller will be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals, ensuring financial compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and profitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Financial Strategy and Planning:**
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to the executive team.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting activities.
- Identify and manage financial risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- **Financial Management:**
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- **Leadership and Team Management:**
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
- **Compliance and Audit:**
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax filings.
- Manage internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain effective internal controls and safeguard company assets.
- **Strategic Initiatives:**
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives through financial due diligence and integration.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with the CFO and executive team on long-term financial planning.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education and Certification:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least a year in a leadership position.
- **Skills and Competencies:**
- Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in financial software and systems, including ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with executive leadership.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
