THIS POSITION
We are looking for a Field Surveyor to join our Land Survey team! As a Field Surveyor will be responsible for providing technical and survey assistance. You will be engaged in the collection, measuring, and setting of survey monuments, elevations, control points, topographical features, utilities, infrastructure, construction staking, and other land surveying related duties.
To be considered, you should have experience in the construction industry or related field, or relevant work experience in Land Surveying.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and break down of all survey equipment
- Load and unload survey vehicles with necessary equipment and supplies
- Perform staking (set hubs, mark lath, paint, cut/fill, etc.)
- Collect survey data
- Operate survey equipment, manual and electronic
- Ensure all equipment leaves the worksites
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years of previous experience in land survey, construction, or related field
- Knowledgeable in land surveying and civil engineering concepts and principals
- Work as part of a two-man crew
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge with AutoCAD, Civil3D, GIS, and/or Microstation a plus
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and coordinate/ follow-up with multiple priorities, while managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.

- This position is located in Las Vegas, NV
- This position requires the ability to travel up to 90% of the time
