At Blank Dental Group Powell, our practice is lead by Dr. James Blank & a team of dental professionals that proudly serve the Powell, OH community & are thrilled to announce a unique opportunity to support our patients as a Treatment Coordinator to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities Patient Communication & Education :
Discuss treatment plans with patients, ensuring they understand procedures, costs, and benefits.
Answer questions about dental procedures, insurance coverage, and financing options.
Provide personalized support to help patients make informed decisions about their treatment.
Financial Coordination :
Present financial estimates and explain payment options, including insurance benefits, in-house financing, and third-party payment plans.
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for recommended treatments.
Assist with insurance claims and pre-authorizations as needed.
Scheduling & Coordination :
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with the dental team to optimize workflow.
Follow up with patients regarding pending treatments and encourage case acceptance.
Track treatment progress and update records accordingly.
Administrative Duties :
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and office protocols.
Work closely with the front desk and clinical team to streamline office operations.
Monitor treatment plan acceptance rates and provide reports to management.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as a treatment coordinator in a dental office.
Technical Skills : Proficiency with dental practice management software (such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive patient interactions.
Organizational Skills : Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Service : A friendly, patient-centric approach with the ability to create positive experiences for all patients.
