Duties
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits to assist patients with their treatment options.
- Utilize software systems such as Dentrix for managing patient records and billing processes.
- Conduct medical billing tasks.
- Maintain an organized office environment while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options, appointments, and follow-up care.
- Assist in the management of patient inquiries and concerns to enhance overall patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that all aspects of patient care are addressed efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in using practice management software such as Dentrix (or similar) is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
