R&D Marketing Analyst

• Position Title: R&D Marketing Analyst
• Reports to: Product Line Manager
• Location - Remote
• Pay Range: $80,000-$92,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze key market segment trends, growth drivers, market sizing, target customers and product applications, with relevance to Blommer strategic initiatives; generate category insights and report out to internal stakeholders.
• Perform ad hoc market studies to support marketing, sales, and R&D partners as well as executive team in various internal and external projects; support the design and launch of consumer studies, as well as the data syndication and consumer insights generation.

• Program content push, customer engagement emails and campaigns in CRM; monitor KPI and effectiveness
• Gather and syndicate data from internal databases and assets for various marketing and company strategic planning projects
• Maintain and enhance strategic product line dashboards and send out reports to both internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI, by product lines and market segment to show live sales and performance metrics
• Follow up leads from customer engagement and business development perspectives, research, qualify, and assign leads in CRM; help generate content and messaging to promptly respond to leads right after events/engagement/tradeshows either
• Maintain marketing intranet to ensure accurate and updated content
• Other responsibilities as identified by the sales and marketing leadership teams

Physical Requirements:

• General office environment and occasional work in physical or remote team meetings, trade shows, and customer events

Performance Expectations:

• Properly use the internal and external databases & systems available to you, and proactively offer potential additions and improvements as identified. 
• Produce high-quality, appropriate audience-facing written communication free of grammatical and formatting errors. 
• Understand food industry jargon, key players in each market segment, and Blommer capabilities across the network.
• Ability to manage multiple timelines and projects simultaneously throughout different stages in the process with strong collaboration skills   
• Support and foster the established company culture, including thinking creatively to efficiently solve problems.  
• Collaborate and work directly with a variety of roles, departments & personalities, communicating clearly and resolving conflict as necessary. 
• Maintain a mindset of continuous professional development, including building and maintaining subject matter expertise; sharing and exchanging ideas to elevate each team member is expected.  

Skills and Work Experience Requirements:

• Three plus years’ industry experience in consumer products, food and beverage, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills: proficiency in data analysis techniques like statistical analysis, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. 
• Data visualization skills: ability to present complex data in clear and insightful visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI. 
• Proficiency in marketing analytics tools: familiarity with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics, social media analytics tools, and marketing automation software (Salesforce). 
• Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. 
• Business acumen: understanding of marketing principles, business objectives, and market dynamics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Teams, Excel, PowerPoint.
