What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager position at BluCurrent Credit Union?
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Member Service Representatives ensuring adequate staffing for optimum member service.
- Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained, and informed staff.
- Manage overall branch to ensure member satisfaction and efficient operation.
- Maintain accountability and security of all funds located within the branch. Maintain overall security of the branch.
- Provide support to branch staff and other branches when necessary.
- Comply with Credit Union policies and procedures. Ensure the branch complies with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Association and other regulatory agencies.
- Exceed service standards and contribute to a positive work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
- At least one year of experience working in a branch office or financial institution.
- Previous supervisory and financial institution experience preferred.
- Should be well versed in information gathering techniques; able to effectively communicate with members, all levels of the organization and with outside parties.
