The Global Channels team is excited to announce a new NA position, the Channel Business Development Representative, or CDR.
The CDR will map directly to BlueCat’s US, Canadian, and LATAM channel teams, effectively communicating our channel messaging, and expanding our reach into the partner community. The CDR will be a highly effective internal communicator that interfaces with all internal stakeholders both at BlueCat and in the partner community, helping the channel to grow . Being a vital element of the channel team, the requirements, responsibilities, and activities for a career beginning as a CDR include the following:
Responsibilities
· Delivering our channel value proposition to new and existing partners in the US, Canada, and LATAM, both live and or over Zoom
· Supporting internal BlueCat sales teams in alignment with our partners, and their field teams
· Expanding our current partner relationship by account mapping and building out organization structures of our larger more complex partners
· Helping partners navigate our partner portal, its content, as well as assisting in deal registrations
· Prospecting into partners sales teams to find new BlueCat opportunities
· Interacting with partners, guiding them through the process of keeping up with our innovation, new products & services and everything new at BlueCat.
· Organizing and attending events such as exhibitions, roadshows etc.
· Aligning both BlueCat and our Partners marketing teams, to drive demand generation programs and marketing plays.
· Collaborating with other departments at BlueCat to communicate our channel strategies and projects.
What we’re looking for:
● 1-2 years of related Sales or Sales Development experience
● Confident in calling and speaking with various levels within an organization including C-level executives
● Bonus points if you have experience booking meetings for complex and technical software / solutions
● Previous experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce, in managing your daily activities
● Hustle-and-determination; a drive to constantly improve. We are seeking a go-getter. Able to prioritize competing tasks, self directed, bias for action
● A can-do attitude; nothing is impossible with some creativity and flexibility
