Commercial Lines CSR Responsibilities
- Manage a client portfolio of commercial lines accounts, handling inquiries, renewals, claims, and documentation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client service needs, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues
- Facilitate renewal processes and collaborate with insurance carriers and underwriters to meet client requirements
- Enter and maintain accurate client information in the agency management system
- Support claims processes by assisting insured clients with filing, follow-ups, and coordination with adjusters
- Provide quotes for renewal or re-written policies to optimize client coverage and satisfaction
- Stay informed on market trends and continuously enhance customer service skills through ongoing education and training
- Prior experience in the insurance industry, particularly in agency service roles
- Familiarity with insurance-based agency management systems
- Commercial lines and multi-line experience strongly preferred
- New York State Insurance Broker License required
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
