Job Overview
We are seeking a Pet Bather/retail sales associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals as well as being part of a retail team when needed and providing top-notch care to furry companions and their people.
Responsibilities
- Bathe and groom pets according to specific instructions
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized grooming area
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's grooming needs
- Provide basic grooming services such as nail trimming and ear cleaning
-Provide customer service and stock products in retail
Skills
- Experience in animal handling
- Knowledge of pet care practices
- Familiarity with kennel operations
- Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Background in pet sitting, pet grooming, or dog handling would be advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
