Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will make service calls to residence’s homes and provide them with expert troubleshooting and repair service to a variety of appliances, residential HVAC equipment, plumbing and other maintenance opportunities. As with all our staff, you will maintain a professional and friendly image and serve as an advocate for the company.
Specific duties include:
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned
- Troubleshooting and repairing residential appliances and HVAC equipment, electrical and plumbing
- Complete Turn process of vacant apartments/homes as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager
- Preparing accurate daily paperwork
- Utilizing all applicable safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintaining a clean and neat service van and properly accounting for assigned tools and parts inventory
- Perform other duties as assigned
Specific qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in Maintenance
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy
- Exceptional technical skills as well as strong communication skills
- Willingness to expand your technical and repair knowledge; obtain new licenses and commitment to professional growth
- Ability to support our company as an advocate
- Must be able to work independently while safely maintaining a high level of performance
