The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick is looking for Childcare Team members for our School-aged programs!
Duties include:
Planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate programming for school age children and youth and assisting with the supervision of the youth to ensure a safe environment; maintaining a positive and professional attitude; and attending staff meetings and trainings.
Could be an ideal position for a education major, or college student building a resume!
This position is for five days per week (Mon-Fri) Before School (7am-9am) and After School (2pm-6pm) hours available
Direct service with youth ages 5-13. Responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of a broad range of recreational programs in the areas of Education, The Arts, STEAM, Social Recreation, Leadership, Sports and MORE!
Requirements KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
- Must have at least 1 year prior experience working with youth
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
- Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
- Must be 18 or older.
Must be able to pass employee screening, which includes national fingerprint check, drug screen, etc.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17.5 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
