The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled People Operations Manager with strong operational expertise to drive both the human and business sides of BPM Music. In this role, you will be responsible for managing core HR functions while ensuring operational processes are optimized to support efficiency, scalability, and employee engagement.

What You’ll Do:

• HR Operations Management: Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee records management to ensure smooth business operations.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve and streamline operational processes across HR and other departments, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Employee Experience & Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction through data-driven decisions and operational strategies that support a positive work culture.
• Performance Management: Implement and manage effective performance review systems, helping managers and employees set, track, and achieve goals.
• Operational Scaling: Support the company’s growth by designing scalable people processes, systems, and workflows that support an expanding workforce while maintaining operational excellence.
• Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation within HR and support departments to ensure optimal productivity and cost-efficiency.
• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Collaborate with department leads to recruit, hire, and onboard top talent, with a focus on creating smooth, efficient processes for hiring and integration.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with operations and leadership teams to ensure HR strategies are integrated into broader company goals, ensuring alignment in areas such as project management, departmental workflow, and performance tracking.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Use metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and operational processes, providing insights that drive improvement and efficiency.
• Accounting Coordination: Collaborate closely with the accounting team to manage payroll processing, benefits budgets, and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of employee compensation and expenses.

Who You Are:

• 5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or operations management, preferably within the tech, music, or creative industry.
• Strong operational management skills with a track record of improving processes and scaling operations.
• Proficient in HR systems, project management software, and operational tools that enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with company operations and growth goals.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex projects and initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or operations management certification is a plus.
• Passionate about music and aligned with BPM Music’s mission to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.
