What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurofeedback Technician position at Brain Performance Centers of Southern California?
Looking for a positive, enthusiastic individual to operate neurofeedback equipment and administer sessions on clientele. The Brain Performance Centers of Southern California are among the most technologically advanced neurofeedback facilities in the country. All EEG brain maps are processed using one of the largest and most research-based EEG normative databases. We have been in business for 12 years and are currently expanding.
Our goal with every client is to improve the physiology that is causing the physical symptoms and/or is exacerbating undesired behaviors. Initial and post EEG brain mapping provides objective, measurable outcomes of your progress.
This is a full time position that will primarily work in our Westlake Village office. We are looking for someone who can also be trained in EEG brain mapping and willing to travel to other locations as needed, including Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients in one-on-one neurofeedback sessions
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients
- Guide clients through the neurofeedback process, including equipment fitting and explanation of the procedure, answering any questions
- Stock and sanitize equipment
- Take accurate notes regarding client sessions
Qualifications
- BS in Neuroscience, Psychology, Physiology or equivalent field
- Basic knowledge of neuroanatomy and physiology
- Self-sufficient but works well with team
- Passionate about health and wellness
- Attention to detail
- Strong oral communication skills
- Comfort with troubleshooting technical issues as they arise
- Reliable transportation
- We will train the right person
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
