Position Summary: The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations to ensure the efficient and safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of products. This role is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate records, and optimizing workflows to enhance operational productivity. The Warehouse Manager will also supervise warehouse staff, enforce safety standards, and work collaboratively with other departments, including logistics, procurement, and customer service, to meet company objectives. Strong organizational skills, leadership, and an ability to solve problems quickly and effectively are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains reports on inventory levels and shipment status.
- Maintains inventory control, including submitting purchase orders to manufacturers, and communicates with manufacturers to check on the progress of orders.
- Schedules outgoing shipments and coordinates with warehouse staff to ensure timely completion.
- Maintains quality control processes with warehouse staff to ensure accurate outgoing orders.
- Receives paperwork and enters the information into spreadsheet and/or accounting software.
- Help the warehouse staff to pull and stage orders.
- Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training and addresses any dangerous conditions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols in a warehouse setting.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; accounting software and internet software.
Equipment:
Pallet jack and Fork lift
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in the Shipping Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
