In this pivotal role, you will manage product pricing, foster distributor relationships, and serve as a trusted partner for high-profile customers, particularly within the sugar industry. Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Promotion : Actively promote and market Bray’s product lines to both current and prospective customers in your assigned territory.
- Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their processes and needs to recommend optimal Bray solutions.
- Site Visits : Conduct on-site visits to gain insights into customer operations and propose improvements using Bray products to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Territory Management : Strategically manage accounts to meet or exceed defined sales goals, with a focus on expanding Bray’s presence in the sugar industry.
- Technical Proficiency : Achieve a thorough understanding of all Bray product lines to effectively address customer inquiries and needs.
- Experience : Proven experience selling valves and controls, specifically in the sugar mill industry.
- Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of the fluid handling equipment market (e.g., valves, controls, piping).
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
- Skills : Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential for success.
- Travel : Ability to travel locally, including areas such as Lafayette, Morgan City, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
- Driver’s License : Valid driver’s license required; personal vehicle available for sales and service calls.
