Position Details
SPECIFIC TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, administration, and district personnel to promote student achievement and a healthy and productive environment.
- Use student achievement, attendance, and discipline data to identify students who are in need of additional academic or personal support.
- Provides pre and post–test and progress monitoring data to staff and supervisor related to aforementioned data.
- Provides additional instruction for at-risk students in academics.
- Differentiates instruction and / or engagement based on assessment, attendance, and discipline data.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Tier 2 & Tier 3 supplemental instruction during the school day
- Meet with classroom teachers, students and parents to provide progress monitoring data for report cards, progress reports, and Child Studies
- Works with the school leadership team to guide and monitor the progress of each student.
- Attend scheduled meetings and parent conferences related to instruction, attendance, and discipline.
- Manages work space organization
- Maintain time logs (PARS Reports) for grant funded programs.
- Maintains appropriate records and follows required procedures and practices.
- Attend work regularly.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job which include stooping, kneeling, crawling and lifting and / or moving
up to 25 lbs.
