Schedule: Testing Period 1st, 2nd and 4th Quarter of the School Year, part-time
Reports to: Early Childhood Assistant Principal
Bridges seeks to hire Bilingual Testers / Assessors for our Early Childhood School program, Spanish and English. Individuals will be trained on the administration of education evaluation tools to test students periodically during the school year. This is a part-time position. The Bridges’ testing cohort is an important part of our instructional program.

As a Tester you will be responsible for...
- Participating in Tester/Assessor orientation/training.
- Participating in ongoing training and feedback sessions on various assessment tools.
- Conducting assessments with students, maintaining test fidelity and student confidentiality.
- Accurately recording student responses and, if needed, entering information into the testing database.
- Other duties as needed to assess students.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working on-site between 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. three to five times a week during testing.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a native Spanish speakers or non-native speakers of Spanish with a high level of language skill in Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, educational administration, or related field.
- Previous work experience in education.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and regulations, a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Have a passion for urban public schools.
- Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standards.
- We are also seeking candidates who speak Amharic.
SALARY & BENEFITS
This position pays an hourly rate of $25.00 per hour.
In addition to your hourly pay, which is paid on a bi-weekly schedule, you are eligible for the following: DC Sick Leave: You will receive 1 hour of DC Sick time for every 37 hours worked.
This position is not eligible for Bridges benefits.
