What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Risk Analyst position at BridgeView?
Role: IT Risk Analyst (Full-time) Hybrid schedule
Overview:
We are looking for a strong Risk Analyst to join our clients Business Controls Testing team. The resource will play a role in their issue management process. In this role, you will be heavily involved in identifying issues and working with the issue owner to create a plan and remediate the problem.
The Risk Analyst will be responsible for issues such as: key risk indicator breaches, disaster recovery plans, fraud, controls, policy diversions, federal and/or state regulations. They must understand business processes and know how to analyze these cases by finding the why and how.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the first line of business and in working with different issues
- Navigate internal methodologies and requirements on how to document and create a plan that will help remediate issues
- Creating solutions to issues so they don’t occur again
- Assisting and monitoring the implementation of fixes
- Monitor effectiveness of solutions by obtaining supporting documentation
- Packaging documentation for second or third line for audit approval
Required Skills:
- Risk Management experience, preferably within first or second line
- IT Audit experience
- Substantial IT background to be able to assess risk in IT
- One of the following certifications preferred: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRIC, CIA
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
