About the Company - Brighton Solutions is a leader in providing Staffing and Search Solutions across Engineering and Technology sectors. As part of this effort, we are currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join a Civil Engineering and Design firm in northern Illinois - primarily supporting projects in Lake, McHenry, Boone, Winnebago and Kane Counties. Our client is a long-established Civil Engineering firm that develops residential and commercial subdivisions, develops site plans, sewer and septic plans and related areas to work closely with the homebuilders, buyers and general contractors to provide exceptional design on time.
About the Role - In this role, we are ideally looking for an individual with 1-5 years of related professional and design experience. A related internship will be fully considered. Areas of experience and interest should include developing residential and commercial: site plans; drafting; wastewater, drainage and sewer; and related activities.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's or Master's in civil engineering or related discipline
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred Site design) and SWIMM / Wastewater
- Engineer in Training ( EIT / FE ) certification or an interest in sitting for the designation
- Knowledge of local building codes and standards
- 1-5 years of practical experience in these areas
Pay range and compensation package - This full-time position is offered with great benefits and a matching 401k plan along with a number of professional development opportunities. This position requires that you must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. This position is worked largely onsite.
Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
