Summary

Due to new multifamily construction work incoming to the South Texas market (McAllen Texas area), we are seeking an experienced Multifamily Superintendent to join the team. He/she will lead and run a $13M multifamily jobsite consisting of a walk-up style apartment complex and clubhouse. The Superintendent is responsible for all field operations, including the coordination of subcontractors’ work. Along with a strong commitment to on-site safety, this position shares responsibility with the Project Manager for developing the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time. This position will help manage and mentor assistant superintendents and other field personnel.

Qualifications

• 10 years or more of construction experience working in a commercial or multifamily construction environment.
• 5 years or more of Superintendent field experience needed.
• Previous or current multifamily construction experience on jobs $10M and greater, would be helpful.
• Ability to read plans and specs.
• Must have indirect or direct supervisory experience related to staff and subcontractor management.
• Implement a strong safety program by conducting regular, scheduled and unscheduled, safety inspections to assure all working conditions and work habits are in compliance with company and government standards.
