San Antonio, TX (onsite 3-4 days a week)
12 month contract [W2, Benefits, Paid Holidays]
$45-$50/hr. | $90,000-$100,000 (DOE)
Included: As a Brooksource consultant working directly with our client, you will be a W2 employee with full-time 40-hour work week. Comprehensive benefits (health, vision, dental), paid holidays, & sick time accrual is available to all employees on contract. For extensions beyond a year, additional PTO & 401k eligibility.
Overview:
We are looking for a Data minded Business Analyst to join our banking consulting team. You will be the key liaison between the business and technical sides of the house to understand and document their operational and reporting needs. This team will be looking to you for solutions around how to take in data from the various databases you will be supporting and other recommendations you have for improvement. As the business analyst you should provide complex analytical, business, and technical support as it relates to strategic business functions for the enterprise platform.
Must have skills:
- Business Analysis skills
- Proven ability and history of demonstrated Initiative
- Ability to interact with Business and Technical staff and to drill down to get required information
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: good soft skills and good technical skills to interact with team
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Ability to ask the right questions to get the required answers
- Ability to understand and update technical documentation
- Possess understanding of and a working knowledge of Databases, basic data analysis and data profiling
- Prefer experience with S2T and data mapping
- Understand basic SQL
- Experience on a Data Project/Reporting Project
- Must be onsite in USAA Office, PHX or SAT
- Vendor should perform internal screening prior to providing the candidate for interview
Team:
You will be part of an agile team working on standard 2 week sprint cycles. You will be working with both Data and Analytic enablement teams and Enterprise Modernization groups. Highly collaborative and fosters a coaching/mentorship environment.
