Under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Risk Director has broad responsibility to protect the hospital’s assets from loss. The Risk Director is responsible for coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The structure and functions of the Risk Management Program are designed so to comply with guidelines and standards of Joint Commission, other regulatory agencies and the UHS Risk Program.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field. Master’s preferred. Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a in-patient acute care facility (psychiatric preferred) with knowledge of high-risk areas.
