Responsibilities
The Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler performs the scheduling and staffing function for Nursing Services for the hospital. Ensures the facility is properly staffed at all times. Creates a monthly and daily schedule for direct care staff, including Nurses and Mental Health Technicians. Faxes discharge documentation for clinical services and provides clerical support to medical records.

Qualifications
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred.
Experience:
Prior scheduling experience in a healthcare environment. Prefer experience in a psychiatric hospital setting.
Physical requirements:
Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Job may be defined as sedentary when walking and standing are required occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
