Buckley Cable Construction is looking to hire a Ground Hand in the Pittsburgh area. All applicants must be able to push/pull or lift 75 pounds. We will train all skills necessary to perform this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

To perform tasks associated with the construction, maintenance and/or repair of aerial cable.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers.
• Take directions from supervisor, work well independently or in collaboration with crew.
• Perform routine construction related activities such as carrying equipment, climbing ladders, using hand tools, manual digging, general clean up, ect.
• Able to drive and operate bucket truck and other related equipment.
• Able to flag and direct traffic as needed.
• Complete daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks.
• Other responsibilities as directed by Supervision.
