Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drilling operations, particularly within the geotechnical exploration area. As a Driller, you will play a crucial role in executing drilling projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
- Operate drilling rigs and associated equipment for various projects, including horizontal drilling.
- Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute drilling operations effectively.
- Monitor drilling parameters and make adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling operations, including depth, pressure, and other relevant data.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
- Utilize heavy equipment operation skills for tasks such as digging and moving materials as needed.
- Assist in training junior staff on equipment operation and safety practices.
Experience
- Drilling license is required.
- CDL is preferred.
- Proven experience in drilling operations within the geotechnical sector is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as cranes and forklifts.
- Familiarity with commercial driving requirements is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
- Previous experience with construction or maintenance is advantageous.
