Cashier – Job overview:

Receive and process payments from customers and package products. Provide store and product location information to customers in the store and on the phone. Direct sales associate to customers entering the store to provide assistance to them. Maintain product displays in the cash register area. Open and close registers daily following policy, procedure for Point-Of-Sale (POS) system. Other duties as assigned. Must be customer service oriented with excellent communication skills, honesty and courtesy.Duties:

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and process customer purchases
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Promote store loyalty programs and special promotions
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed

Qualifications:

- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
- Experience in electronics, jewelry, or technical sales is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
