This is an entry level position, responsible for supporting the sale and maintenance of Entertaining Now client catering accounts. The Sales Coordinator will also take a supportive role in engaging clients in ongoing relationships with the Company. This includes fostering key relationships and contacts to support the achievement of increased company value. The scope of this position includes supporting the integrity of Butler’s Pantry services, in both sales, operations, culinary and administrative experiences.

Sales Responsibilities:
- Process incoming event inquiries in a timely fashion, capturing all order
- Prepare and submit client proposals and cost summaries for review; follow-up with client for confirmation of order details and necessary changes.
- Through knowledge of sales process, properly maintain accounts to maximize revenue and profitability and exceed client expectations.
- Follow trends and developments in the industry, such as new menus, consumer tastes and sales strategies; document and report when appropriate.
- Attend and participate (virtually or in person) in weekly staff meetings as well as monthly team meetings and trainings.
- Follow and implement Brand Strategic Sales Plan.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team on Promotions, website content, social media and other Entertaining Now related projects.
Operations Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with sales team, culinary, operations, accounting and purchasing departments in the sales process.
- Support Entertaining Now sales from inquiry through execution and follow up.
- Create, distribute BEO’s and supporting documents to necessary departments.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Ensure client proposals and cost summaries are accurately prepared, submitted for review, and followed for confirmation.
- Periodically update shared drive with Entertaining Now related documents.
- Follow up and follow through on emails and other work-related correspondence.
- In a detail oriented and organized fashion, assist team with paperwork and other administrative tasks related to sales.
- Become fluent in Caterease software.

Additional Qualifications and Requirements:
Completion of Degree or Certificate program from an accredited institution or relevant equivalent experience preferred. This position requires the following competencies for success:

- Well disciplined, able to work under the pressure of many priorities and deadlines

- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of catering software programs including Caterease is preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Mathematical skills - ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentages and ability to apply concepts of basic algebra
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all departments to ensure catered events are secured and advanced efficiently and with high quality
- Skill to exercise tact and diplomacy, demonstrate professional conduct in highly sensitive situations, maintain confidentiality, and provide effective feedback in complex situations
