Land Survey CAD Drafter/Office Technician

Butler Surveying, Inc., a professional land surveying firm located in Chehalis, Washington since 1978 has an opening for a survey drafter/office technician. Duties of the position include survey calculations, drafting and preparation of topographic, subdivision and record of survey maps, public records research and interaction with clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coordinate geometry and have prior experience in survey drafting including a working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferably with Boston Harbor software) and/or Carlson drafting software.

Alternatively, this position is open to an experienced field surveyor who wishes to pursue L.S.I.T and/or P.L.S. certification as the company is willing to train the drafting and office calculation skills needed for the trade.

This is a full-time position and wages offered are $25.00 per hour to $35.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
This position offers 6 paid holidays which starts after 90 days of employment.

After 90 days of employment this position offers 52 hours per year of personal time off based upon a 40-hour work week. After one year of employment this position offers 80 hours per year of personal time off based upon a 40-hour work week after 90 days probation period

This position offers health, vision and dental insurance which is 80% employer paid based on a 40-hour work week
