Construction Field Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Supervisor to oversee and coordinate field operations for a range of projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of tasks, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a positive and productive working environment within the field teams.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead field teams to ensure that project tasks are executed per established plans and schedules.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, assess challenges, and provide on-the-ground support.
• Collaborate with project managers to align field activities with overall project objectives.
• Recruit, train, and manage field staff, fostering a positive and safety-conscious work culture.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure team members meet project expectations.
• Promote effective communication and teamwork among field personnel.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets established standards and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address any issues related to work quality and safety.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve quality-related concerns promptly.
• Manage field resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies.
• Monitor and report on resource utilization, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices on all job sites.
• Conduct safety training sessions and promote a safety-conscious culture among field teams.
• Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Maintain regular communication with project managers, providing updates on field activities, challenges, and achievements.
• Prepare and submit field reports, documenting progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Act as a liaison between field teams and project management, addressing concerns and facilitating smooth information flow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or degrees are a plus.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making capabilities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
