What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Department Programmer position at Camco Manufacturing Inc.?
The position of CNC Programmer will serve as the Technical Leader for a well-established CNC mill department. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone with more than 10 years of experience programming using a CAD/CAM system, experience with HAAS and Fanuc controls, as well as experience in machining aluminum.
Currently, our company has been turning down a high percentage of production mill work due to an inability to grow at a rate fast enough to meet our customer’s needs.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of machining all material types but experience in machining aluminum is preferred. Multi-axis experience is required and the desired candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced environment. Must have experience with setting up, choosing applicable tooling, etc.
Experience with fixturing and tool/die work desired, not required.
The candidate will also be responsible for creating standard work instructions including: operational drawings, set-up sheets, check sheets, speeds & feeds standards, and develop robust work process procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
